DIY Ring-bearer's Book

You will need:
- book
- knife
(optional)
- stiff bristled brush
- baking soda
- small paintbrush
- paint color of choice

(Optional) To take the lettering off your book, sprinkle baking soda over the letters, wet your stiff bristled brush, and scrub until the letters come off:

All clean!

Trace the shape you want to cut onto the first page of the book and begin cutting:

(Optional) After you've cut the inside, carefully paint whatever you want onto the cover of the book (I accidentally put my name first, oops!):

All done!

  2. I love the idea! How deep did you cut and what kind of knife did you use? I'm worried my heart will look jagged! :/

  3. E - I used an x-acto knife, but i think most types of knives would work as long as it wasn't like a steak knife haha. If you trace the shape first, and are just really careful not to mess up the first couple pages you should be fine! I hope it works out for you!

  4. Oh, and I cut about and inch and a half, but how deep you would cut would depend on the depth of your book!
